# core::cmp::max

Takes two comparable values `a` and `b` and returns
the greater of the two values.

## Signature

```rust theme={null}
pub fn max, +Drop, +Copy>(a: T, b: T) -> T
```

## Examples

assert!(max(0, 1) == 1);
